Dr. Dan Shen is an Assistant Professor of Statistics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of South Florida, Florida. Dr. Shen has a B.S. in Mathematics Education from Soochow University and an M.S. in Probability and Statistics from Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the Department of Statistics at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012，and then did two year postdoctoral research at the Department of Biostatistics and Biomedical Research Imaging Center at UNC-Chapel Hill. His current research interest focuses on neuroimaging statistics, bioinformatics, machine learning, functional data analysis and high dimensional inference.
