Dr. Elio Chiodo, PhD, after his High School Diploma in Classical Studies, graduated with honors in Electronic Engineering (at the University of Naples, Italy), with a degree thesis in Reliability theory, then he was awarded a PhD Degree in "Computational Statistics and Applications" (at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Naples Federico II. As a member of the PhD Council in Electrical Engineering of his Department, he held several Seminars on " Bayesian Estimation Theory". He published more than 110 articles, and is co-author of two chapters of the book "Innovations in Power Systems Reliability", ( Springer, 2011). As a member of the PhD Council in Electrical Engineering of his Department, he held several Seminars on " Bayesian Estimation Theory". He's a member of the IEEE Reliability Society,IEEE Electron Devices Society, IEEE Big Data Community. His research areas include Bayesian Estimation, statistical methods, power system reliability.
