Biography |
||
Geri C. Reeves, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, is an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt School of Nursing, Nashville, Tennessee, where she serves as the Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty Program Director. She also teaches in the FNP program and serves as chair for DNP student scholarly projects. Dr. Reeves is an experienced nurse educator and clinician. She has expertise as a primary care provider in addition to experience in management of NP run clinics. She received her MSN from Vanderbilt school of nursing and her PhD from the University of Kentucky. She has served a reviewer for the journal Heart and Lung and the American Heart Association journal. Currently, she practices part-time at the Vanderbilt Williamson County walk in clinics. Dr. Reeves is a recipient of a number of honors and awards, including the Vanderbilt Graduate School, Distinguished Faculty Award. In 2014, she was named as one of Top 25 NP Program Professors by @nurseschools. |
