Graduated from University of London (United Kingdom) after a residency program at UCL Hospitals and Eastman Dental Institute, London, UK, with Master Degree and Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland FFDRCSI in 2005. He is a fellow of International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Senior Fellow of Head and Neck Optical Diagnostic Society. From Dec. 2006 to July 2008 he was Assistant Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in King Khalid University (KKU) and the head of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department and Biomedical Dental Sciences Department and Director of Dental Hospital at KKU. In July 2008 Dr. Omar moved to Taibah University. My name is Dr. Omar El Meligy, I am a Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at King Abdulaziz and Alexandria Universities. I received my B.D.S. (1990), M. Sc. (1995) and Ph. D. (2001) from Alexandria University, Egypt and became a Lecturer of Pediatric Dentistry at Alexandria University. I was a Research Scholar in School of Dentistry, Indiana University, USA from 1998 till 2000. After my three-year career as a lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University, I moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where I was offered a position at King Abdulaziz University. In addition to teaching, treating patients and conducting research, I am a contributor in the books Principles of Pediatric Dentistry, Pulpal Response Following Pulpotomy and Evaluation of two resin materials used for primary molars restoration. Dr. Farouk El-Sabban is US scientist who works in Kuwait. He is a Professor of Nutrition and Physiology at the College of Life Sciences (formerly known as College for Women), Kuwait University, since September 2003. Dr. El-Sabban established the Department of Family Sciences (currently is known as Food Science and Nutrition) – the only entity that grants the B.Sc. degree in Food Science and in Nutrition in Kuwait. Prior to joining Kuwait University, he held the position of Senior Staff Scientist for science and medicine at the American Heart Association, Dallas, Texas, USA. Dr. El-Sabban earned his B.Sc. degree from the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1963 and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in nutritional science at the Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania, USA, in 1968 and 1970 - respectively. His experience in academia is vast and spans over many countries: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United States of America, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and Kuwait. Dr. El-Sabban is a scientist who published many scientific articles, presented papers in conferences, a reviewer for many journals and has extensive professional affiliations. Currently, my title is Professor and Orthodontic Dentistry Attending at MGH, a Chief Resident inOral & Maxillofacial Surgery and The Department of OFMS Director of Research for the division of traumatology. during this period he served as a Visiting Scholar with focus on periodontal regeneration and the treatment of AI surgical Maxillofacial disorders at the Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine, The University of Tokyo, Japan. I have gained a number of patent for an invention, including a series on The Dental Treatment of Intelligent Application and a further series entitled The Current Concepts in the Realization of Diagnostic Imaging of Oral and Maxillofacial Region，both of which were applied for US and RPC patents. He has also completed his clinical research data relating to the performance of periodontal regeneration as well the results for pharmaceutical technique to help diagnose and treat incompletely severe periodontitis, utilizing the concept of Relative Biocompatibility. In addition, he has written several books and has contributed a chapter on patient examination and assessment in the essentials of AI Dentistry.
