I completed my Master degree (M. Pharm) from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal Academic of Higher Education (MAHE), Karnataka, India, in 2003. I worked as a Lecturer in department of pharmacology from August 2003 to August 2006 and continuing in the same profession as Assistant Professor until July 2014 in Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS) and Manipal Teaching Hospital (MTH), Pokhara, Nepal. I was head of department of Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacovigilance (PV) Center and Drug Information Center (DIC) during my working tenure in MCOMS & MTH. I awarded PhD degree in Social & Administrative Pharmacy (Specialization: Pharmacy Practice) by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia in April 2014. I was Assistant Director and Associate Professor in Bhagwant Group of Institutions, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. Currently, I am Associate Professor in Unit of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Practice, AIMST University, Malaysia. I have almost 12 years of teaching, administrative and academic research experiences. I had published 45 research publications in peer reviewed national and international journals and written several articles in bulletins.

Dr. Fuh had his Ph.D. training in Biomedical studies combined with residency program in Prosthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas from 1991 to 1996. He then continues his career in China Medical University where he graduated and specializes in Implant Dentistry and major prosthodontic reconstruction. He organized the ?rst implant team in China Medical University Hospital since 1997. Dr. Fuh also leads a biomechanical research team including experts specialized in engineering, material sciences and computer aided design. This group has focused on new implant designs and surface treatment. Dr. Fuh has been the Dean of the School of Dentistry from 2002 to 2009, the President of Association for Dental Sciences, R.O.C. and the Director of Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry, China Medical University Hospital. He has emphasized the dental education through diversi?ed cooperation to achieve professionalism. He is actively involved in Implant and Prosthodontic Societies and lecturing intensively in Taiwan.

He leads a Biomechanical research team including experts specialized in Engineering, Material Sciences and Computer Aided Design.

He Graduated as Doctor of Medicine (M.D) in 2004. Currently, he is a General practitioner in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Iran (October 2014).

I was born in Catania (Italy) in 1982. I am currently Consultant Neurologist and Clinical Researcher at the Department of Neurology I.C. of the “Oasi” Institute for Research on Mental Retardation and Brain Aging (I.R.C.C.S.) in Troina (Italy), which is a Collaborating Center of the World Health Organization (WHO) for Research and Training in Neuroscience. After graduation with honours in Medicine in 2007, I trained at the School of Neurology of the University of Catania, and I am now a PhD Student at the same Institution. I specialized in cerebrovascular diseases and Neurosonology at the “Stroke Unit” based on the “Sant’Andrea Civic Hospital” in La Spezia (Italy). As visiting clinical research Fellow, I further trained at the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology of the “Royal Victoria Infirmary” and at the Department of Neuroscience, Newcastle University (Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK). In 2013 I was selected for one the six Scientific Fellowship promoted by the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS), with a project titled “Visual hallucinations in dementia with Lewy bodies: a combined TMS/EEG study.” I have co-authored more than 50 publications in international refereed scientific Journals and Conferences and I am also Editorial Board member and invited Reviewer of several international Journals.

Dr. Hassaan Tohid MBBS is a Neuroscientist, inventor, public speaker, medical professional, researcher, book editor and a published author. After graduating from Sindh Medical College, Karachi (Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi, Pakistan) as a medical doctor. He has been associated with the prestigious instituions of the world the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) and UCLA (past) and still holds a prestigious title of a visiting Neuroscientist at the Center of Mind & Brain (UC Davis). Dr. Bergantin received his academic education at EPM-UNIFESP (Brazil) and UAM (Spain): degree in biomedicine (2008), MSc (2010) and PhD (2014). His research involves cell signaling mediated by Ca2+ and cAMP, skeletal and smooth muscles, peripheral and central nervous systems. His research work solved the enigma of the paradoxical effects produced by Ltype Ca2+ channel blockers (TOP 25 Hottest Articles - Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology - Cell Calcium - TOP 1 July to September 2013/ TOP 5 October to December 2013/ TOP 1 January to December 2013 full year/TOP 6 January to March 2014). Since 1975, several clinical and experimental studies have reported that acute and chronic administration of L-type Ca2+ channel blockers (CCB), such as nifedipine, produces reduction in arterial pressure associated with a paradoxical increase of sympathetic activity. Despite this sympathetic hyperactivity has been initially attributed to adjust reflex of arterial pressure, the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in this apparent sympathomimetic effect of the L-type CCB remained unclear for decades. In 2013, Dr. Bergantin and collaborators discovered that this paradoxical increase in sympathetic activity produced by L-type CCB is due to interaction of the Ca2+/cAMP signaling pathways. Then, the pharmacological manipulation of the Ca2+/cAMP interaction produced by combination of the L-type CCB used in the antihypertensive therapy, and cAMP accumulating compounds used in the antidepressive therapy, could represent a potential cardiovascular risk for hypertensive patients due to increase in sympathetic activity. In contrast, this pharmacological manipulation could be a new therapeutic strategy for increasing neurotransmission in psychiatric disorders, and producing neuroprotection in the neurodegenerative diseases (Bergantin and Caricati-Neto, 2016 Eur J Pharmacol; Caricati-Neto et al., 2015 Pharm Res Perspect). Dr. Bergantin has published several articles in international journals, book chapters, and an international book. He is member of editorial board of 8 international journals. Dr. Bergantin has been frequently invited to be honorable guest (speaker) in international conferences (e.g.: more than 30 invitations in 2016).

In 1969 Alexei Novikov graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute named after SM Kirov (Sverdlovsk), specializing in the design and manufacture of electronic equipment. He worked there as a research fellow at first, and then the senior teacher. In 1981 he was the winner of the Lenin Komsomol Prize in Science and Technology. In 1986 - he defended his PhD thesis in electrical and semiconductor converters. Since 1990 he was an Associate Professor at Omsk State Technical University. From 1995 to 2009 he was a Deputy Vice-Rector for Research of the University. Since 1996 he was also member of the Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences. Basma Abdelmoez Ali is professor of Pediatrics in Minia University. She is the Co-Manager of Minia University Children's and Maternity Hospital. Dr. Dong obtained the First Class Honors of Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy and PhD degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research interest is in the area of neurological rehabilitation, especially of people with stroke and cerebral palsy. Dr. Dong has worked as a qualified Occupational Therapist in the Department of Rehabilitation in Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Hospital for more than ten years. She has adequate experience in neurological rehabilitation, burn injury, hand therapy, and pediatric disease rehabilitation. Dr. Dong studies motor planning and functional performance problems in people with hemiplegic cerebral palsy and stroke. She developed an innovative task-specific intensive bimanual arm training programme – Remind to treatment, to enhance the motor efficiency and function performance for the school-aged children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. She has also indicated that the child-friendly age-appropriate approach is one of the successful elements in improving arm functions for a child with cerebral palsy. Her ongoing research projects include the long-term effect of intensive task-specific bimanual arm training programme in people with hemiplegia and the neurological mechanisms underlying the positive effects of sensory cueing treatment in people with stroke. She also is interested in developing the precision rehabilitation programme for people with hemiplegia in community.

Abdullah Sultan earned his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. He has published several articles in the field of Neuroscience and Stem cell biology. His present research at City of Hope, California, USA, involves using induced pluripotent stem cells for modeling Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. His long-term research interests are to have a comprehensive understanding of the cellular self-renewal factors in neurodegenerative diseases and the development of stem cell-based therapeutics targeting these factors.

Dr. Mayank Singhal is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Campbell University and Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He also serves as Medical Director, Advance Stroke Program and Internal Medicine Clerkship Director. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency from University of North Dakota and is board certified in Internal Medicine. Besides teaching Residents and Students, he is interested in clinical research. Many of his mentored projects have won awards and led to publications.
