Professor Francis CW Chan has been appointed as research assistant professor in the School of Chinese medicine in the Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2011. His main research areas are herbal medicine and natural products on orthopaedic problem. Professor Chan has published 36 papers and papers and 4 book chapters. He has secured over 4 major competitive research grants as principal investigator and 26 grants. He has served the editorial boards of two scientific journals.

Herbal medicine and natural products on orthopaedics including bone healing and cartilage degeneration using tissue engineering, stem cell therapy and physical intervention.

Dr. John is Assistant Professor, Principal ASAB & Dean of the Atta-Ur-Rahman School of Applied Biosciences (ASAB) at National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) Islamabad, Pakistan. Dr John has made an excellent progress in research, teaching and administration. He secured a research grant from the Higher Education Commission in Pakistan (HEC) for the year 2011-2014. He has 38 publications in journals with high impact factor and cumulative impact factor of 108.244. Dr. John’s research group is interested to improve the diagnosis and management of diseases through a better understanding of the basic pathogenetic mechanisms that cause and sustain these conditions. It targets following major areas: genetic disorders, inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, oncology and environmental problems.

Dr Michael Tanzer is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee arthroplasty. He obtained his medical degree and did his residency training at McGill University. He did an Adult Reconstruction Hip fellowship at Harvard University with Dr William Harris at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He then returned to the McGill University Hospital Centre (MUHC) in Montreal, Canada. He is the Associate Surgeon-in-Chief of Surgery at the MUHC and a Professor and the Vice Chair of Surgery at McGill University. He holds the Jo Miller Chair of Orthopaedic Research and is the Director of the McGill Arthroplasty Group. His research includes clinical, basic science and engineering related investigations related to hip and knee joint reconstruction. He has published over 130 papers and book chapters. His research has been recognized with 6 Hip Society Awards, 2 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Awards of Excellence and 2 Founders Medals. He is a member of the prestigious Hip Society and International Hip Society.

Dr. Seyed Saeid is a Principal Researcher with Computational Solid Mechanics Laboratory (CSMLab) in Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in the field of Applied Mechanics and Design from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia. His research interest includes design and analysis of materials in micro- and macro-scales. He has long experience in mechanical analysis and simulation of advanced materials for elastic-plastic behaviours and damage phenomena that gain through many years research in CSMLab, UTM (2007-2016). He is the Project Manager of the Collaborative Research Program between AIRBUS, Aerospace Malaysia Innovation Centre (AMIC), Centre of Excellent in Aerospace and Composites (CTRM) and UTM at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UTM, Johor, Malaysia. He is the author of many articles that published and presented in several international journals and conferences. He is serving as the Editorial Board for the “American Journal of Mechanics and Application”, “Asian Journal of Material Science”, Guest Editor in the journals of “Materials Research Innovations”, Advances in Materials Science and Engineering”, “Advanced Journal of Physical Science”, and Committee Member in many international conferences. Dr. SeyedSaeidRahimianKoloor is a Senior Scientist with the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovation (CXI), Technical University of Liberec, Liberec, Czech Republic. He received hisPh.D. degrees (with highest honors)in the field of Applied Mechanics and Design from the UniversitiTeknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2016. He has held several positions (2010-Present) including Fulltime Researcher, Project Manager and Postdoctoral Fellow (4-times), Senior Scientists in many international projects from European and Asian Industries including AIRBUS, SKODA, CTRM, POROTON, PETRONAS, CRTM, AMIC, DIALOGAsia, INTEL Microelectronics, IKCO, etc., at UniversitiTeknologi Malaysia, Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Iran's National Elites Foundation (BMN), and now in Technical University of Liberec. He is the author/coauthor of many articles that published in ISI, WoS, Scopus journals,and presented in international conferences. He is serving as one of the Elsevier Advisory Panel, the Editorial Board and Guest Editor ofmany international journals,and served as the Committee Member in many international conferences.
