Dr. Mark Kindy is a biochemist/neuroscientist and Professor/Associate Dean for Research in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at the University of South Florida and Senior Research Career Scientist at the James A. Haley VA Medical Center. He recently moved from the Department of Regenerative Medicine and Cell Biology and Neurosciences at the Medical University of South Carolina and a Senior Research Career Scientist/Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Research at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. He received his BS from the University of Massachusetts in Zoology and PhD from Boston University School of Medicine in Biochemistry. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Salk Institute. Dr. Kindy started his faculty career at the University of Kentucky School of Medicine in the Department of Biochemistry and the Center on Aging. His area of expertise is neurodegenerative disorders, animal modeling, mechanisms associated with diseases and regeneration of the brain.

Forough Ataollahi is a holder of Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and Master of Engineering Science in Biomedical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran and University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia, respectively. Presently she is working as Research Assistant in Biomedical Engineering Department of University Malaya in an internationally and multicultural environment. Dr Amrit Pal Singh is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Zoology & Environmental Sciences at Punjabi University. He received Fellowship and Associateship Awards from CSIR, New Delhi. He has been selected for Vice President of Zoological Society, Punjabi University, Patiala for year 1997-1998. His research experience is about 20 years in the field of insect taxonomy and systematics. He worked in all the three National Museums i.e. Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata; Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi and Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He is recipient of different awards/ fellowships from CSIR and DST, New Delhi.

Gurinder Kaur has received her Ph.D. on the topic “Cytological studies on some North and North East Indian Odonata” in the faculty of Life Sciences of Punjabi University, Patiala in 1997.she has published 45 research papers, out of which 26 are in International and 19 in National Journals. She has also attended 35 International/ National Symposia and Conferences. She has completed karyological studies of 80 odonate species, out of which 40 are reported for the first time from the Indian fauna. Recognizing her research contributions in the field of Odonatology, she was conferred with an award, and was selected as Life member and Fellow of the South Asian Council of Odonatology (FSACO) by SIOROSA in 1998. She was also honored as Outstanding Odonatologist of India by South Asian Council of Odonatology (SACO) in 2014.

Prof. Shail K. Chaube is a Ph.D. in Zoology from BHU (1996) and post doctoral fellow from CCMB, Hyderabad (1996-97). He joined as a Research Officer in the Department of Reproductive Biomedicine, National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi (MOHFW, Govt. of India) in 1997 and served NIHFW for 10 years. He was then appointed as a Reader in the Department of Zoology, BHU, Varanasi in 2007 and became Associate Professor in the year 2010. Currently, he is Professor in the Department. He is specialized in the field of cell physiology particularly in the field of meiotic cell cycle regulation and apoptosis in female germ cells. He has authored more than 75 reviewed original research articles and 6 review articles in highly reputed international journals in the field of cell signalling during meiotic cell cycle regulation and apoptosis. He serves as an editorial board member of 6 highly-valued international journals. He has received Prof. G.P. Talwar gold medal award for Middle Career Scientist at Rajiva Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram in 2013 for his contribution in the area of cell signalling during meiotic cell cycle regulation and apoptosis in oocytes/eggs. His current research interest includes meiotic cell cycle regulation, cell signalling, apoptosis and postovulatory egg aging in mammals.

Prof. Shalie Malik works as Assistant Professor in Department of Zoology, University of Lucknow. He was awarded as Chairperson, in a session in XXV National Symposium on Chronobiology, Raipur in 2015. He received Certificate of Appreciation for assistance in the UGC SAP (DRS-I) program in 2012. He worked as Faculty in DST-SERB Schools in Chronobiology. He has research experience of 16 years in Zoology. He published 23 research papers and 63 conference abstracts. Some of his participations are International Conference on Comparative Endocrinology and Physiology, Nagpur, India, International Symposium on Current Trends in Endocrine and Reproductive Health and 29th Annual Meeting of the Society for Reproductive Biology and Comparative Endocrinology, Department of studies in Zoology, University of Mysore, Mysore, India.

Fahiel Casillas received a college degree in Experimental Biology in 2012 and a master in Biology of Reproduction in 2014. Currently she is in a PhD program in Biological Sciences at the Autonomous Metopolitan University, Mexico. She has been reviewer of two journals, and has main authored recently research in the field of gamete cryopreservation. She has a 6 yrs. experience in assisted reproduction technologies, including vitrification. She also has granted different awards by the Metropolitan University.
