Evolutionary Programming

 

Evolutionary programming is one of the four essential evolutionary algorithm paradigms. It is comparable to genetic programming, but the shape of the application to be optimized is fixed, while its numerical parameters are allowed to evolve. Its major version operator is mutation; contributors of the population are viewed as section of a particular species as a substitute than members of the same species therefore each mum or dad generates an offspring, using a (μ + μ) survivor selection.
