A Brief Note on Systematic Botany
Botany is a branch of systematic biology that studies the range and variety of organisms, as well as their interactions, as defined by their evolutionary history. Biological categorization, scientific taxonomy, and phylogenetic analysis are all involved or connected. Botanists use biological taxonomy to divide organisms into groups such as genera and species. Biological categorization is a type of taxonomy used in science. Carl Linnaeus' work, which categorised species based on similar physical traits, is the foundation of modern taxonomy.
