An Overview of Knowledge Discovery Database and Data mining Techniques

Abstract

Data mining is used to find or generate new useful information’s from large amount of data base. It is a process of extracting previously unknown and processable information from large databases and using it to make important business decisions. Several emerging applications in information providing services, such as data warehousing and on-line services over the Internet, also call for various data mining and knowledge discovery techniques to understand user behavior better, to improve the service provided, and to increase the business opportunities Of an overview of knowledge discovery database and data mining.
