GNSS Based Bus Monitoring And Sending SMS To The Passengers

Abstract

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is a system of satellite used forpositioning andtracking. GNSS is mainly used for monitoring various types of vehicles like aircrafts, ships, trains, buses etc.Bus is one of the important modes of transport to move from one place to other place. During the time of travel passengers face many problems such as arriving time of bus and time to reach their bus stop. The main objective of this project is to reduce the waiting time of the parents in the bus stop by sending information about the location of the buses to the parents through SMS.This system is providing a mobile application which will help the passengers to get bus arrivals at a particular stop.
