METHOD of IMPORTING DATA from a BUILDING INFORMATION MODEL (BIM)

Abstract

This paper reports the efficiency of IFC file as one of the storage format of the building information model. We developed method of importing data from a BIM that can provide a better way to obtain the clear taskoriented management, improvement and maintenance of buildings. This paper shows information model of the building and ways to improve the energy efficiency of buildings during their design, construction, maintenance and reconstruction. Based on the worked out method we implemented the parsing subsystem for CAD. In order to achieve constructional project in prospective at the very stage of planning we propose one direction of such subsystems of CAD energy efficient buildings.
