Abstract

A67-year-oldmanwasreferredtotheorthopaedicdepartmentforfurtherevaluationofosteoblasticbonelesions incidentallyfoundonpelvisradiograph.Recentexaminationsrevealedbenignprostatehyperplasia.99mTcbone scan(Fig.6)showedpositiveradionuclideuptake,indicatingpossibleosteoblasticmetastases.Hisonlycomplaint was moderate pain in the rightknee.
