Sentiment Analysis Using Support Vector Machine

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is a subfield of NLP concerned with the determination of opinion and subjectivity in a text, which has many applications. In this paper we will be studying about classifiers for sentiment analysis of user opinion towards political candidates through comments and tweets sing Support Vector Machine (SVM),in the manner of the Pang, Lee and Vaithyanathan, which was the first research paper on this topic. The goal is to develop a classifier that performs sentiment analysis, by labeling the users comment to positive or negative. From which we can classify text into classes of interest.
